Praveenkumar Sakat Singh or Praveen Kumar (born 2 October 1986 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh) is an Indian cricketer who has played One Day International cricket for his country and first-class cricket for Uttar Pradesh in India. He is a right-arm medium pace bowler who relies on his ability to swing the ball both ways along with line and length over speed. Because of his ability to swing the ball, he is most effective when given the new ball. Along with being a great opening bowler, he is known to be an effective and aggressive pinch hitter with the bat, sometimes even surprising the opposition by opening an innings.
